BULK SYSTEMS NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE
Contract negotiations between the Union and Bulk Systems have been suspended as of January 6, 2005. No further talks are scheduled at this time. The Union will be scheduling membership meetings in the near future in order to update the membership and obtain their input regarding the current impasse. While both sides have worked hard and have made progress in many areas there are a number of issues left to resolve:
Some of the main issues:
1. Rates of Pay. 2. Out of town Working Conditions 3. Bumping Rights (Seniority) 4. Use of Subcontractors 5. Wait and Delay time.
We urge you to conduct business as usual while we work through the process.
Rumours are dangerous! : For any and all rumours, please pay no attention to them. Information will be supplied to you on a regular basis by your Negotiating Committee. If you do not hear it from us, take it is not so.
