RATIFIED!!
TC LOCAL 1976 UNITED STEELWORKERS BARGAINING UNIT MEMBERS SAY “YES” TO THE TERMS OF THE MEMORANDUM OF SETTLEMENT!
March 10, 2008: In the ratification ballot count today a majority “YES”
vote was made by the bargaining unit members at EL Al Israel Airlines approving the Memorandum of Settlement reached February 22, 2008 between the Union and the Company.
This 3 year agreement brings increases in wages, benefits, contract language plus the addition of a new paid general holiday to be held each year on the third Monday of February each year (“Family Day”)
The Union’s Bargaining Committee wish to express their thanks to all our members at EL AL Israel Airlines for their continued support through every step of the bargaining process.
