Unit 613 Helps Haiti
UNIT 613 members react to the devastation in Haiti
Unit 613 members have taken it upon themselves to reach out to the people of Haiti.
A collection from the members of Unit 613 has already gotten under way. The members of Unit 613 have also challenged Aerogunard who have agreed to match the donation collected from the members. USW Local 1976 will also donate along with the members of Unit 613.
As a result of Unit 613 initiative, I will encourage all Local 1976 Units across Canada to do the same.
In addition to this initiative the USW Humanity Fund has donated $20,000.00 to the people in Haiti.
